HELP IS COMING FOR LOCAL THIRD SECTOR ORGANISATIONS............

Do you need some practical/financial help with IT, Marketing, training or other services you can never afford or budget for ? Then we might be able to help!

Newlands Enterprise has been awarded the Professional Services contract with Enterprising Bradford and will have small amounts of grant available to provide professional services for third sector organisations (e.g. social enterprise, community groups etc).

Newlands Enterprise, a Social Enterprise itself, is based in North Bradford, and delivers infrastructure support to third sector organisations. This new 'professional service' will provide practical and professional assistance to new and growing third sector organisations within the Bradford District. Newlands Enterprise will target this assistance to third sector organisations in deprived communities (10% SOA) focusing on BAME groups, 50+, graduates, women and people at key life points. These organisations will create enterprising opportunities and extend the social economy.

Now the important bit... To ensure you get the type of services you actually need we are asking you to complete a questionnaire to enable us to engage with the correct Service Providers to tender to provide the required services. We would also actively encourage third sector organisations to tender to provide the required services.

Inspired Futures is holding an important event at St. Johns Community Centre on Thursday 29th January 2009 on the topic of the changing economy and how local people and businesses can identify opportunities to create a better future.

The event will showcase local successful business entrepreneurs highlighting the Inspired Futures enterprise facilitation model that is working here in North Bradford. The event starting at 3.00pm and will provide delegates with information to inspire and motivate them in their own businesses.

Last month the British Library launched an innovative and comprehensive distance learning website that will allow anyone interested in learning about intellectual property to do so without a headache.

"Intellectual Property � How to Protect and Develop Your Idea", is designed to give users the confidence to learn the IP fundamentals that no-one setting up a business or launching an innovation can afford to ignore.

The website incorporates much of the invaluable information provided by the courses available at the British Library's Business & IP Centre and brings it to the fingertips of budding entrepreneurs and innovators based anywhere in the UK or the world.

InKind Direct - Low Cost Surplus Equipment
