Professional Services Now Open
Newlands Enterprise are providing up to £5000 worth of Professional Service Support to Third Sector Organisations in Bradford within the Bradford District. The Support is geared towards assisting organisations to become more enterprising.The programme will run from the 1st June 2010 until the 31st April 2011.
How do you access the fund?
- Make sure you meet the criteria, you have to be a third sector organisation aiming to become more enterprising in a 10% most deprived Super Output Area of Bradford.
- Complete an online PQQ and register which services you are interested in receiving. You may want to use it for improving your marketing, monitoring and evaluation recording, business planning, legal and employment concerns. The PQQ should take about 5 minutes to complete at http://professionalservices.newlandsenterprise.com/
- If your PQQ passes the initial criteria checks, you will receive a letter through the post giving you access to the second stage full application.
- Cost out how much you want to spend in each area. You could estimate this yourself, work with an advisor or contact one of the approved suppliers to get some rough costs.
- Application goes forward to a panel who make a decision . These are held approximately every 2 months. The first is in June with the closing date for first round applications on Monday the 14th June 2010. The programme will be open to applications through to Spring 2011.
- If your application is accepted at the Panel you can then start working with the service providers and access the service you need to develop.
Application deadlines
There will be 6 grant panels throughout the life of the programme. Applications must be received at the Newlands Enterprise office 1 week before the panel meetings. The 6 application closing dates are:
- Monday 14th June 2010
- Monday 6th September 2010
- Monday 1st November 2010
- Tuesday 4th January 2011
- Monday 28th February 2011
- Tuesday 1st March 2011
